Over the past few days I played against an Urgot top lane twice.

First time I used Yorick. I was able to dominate the lane. The Urgot didn't seem like he sucked but who knows. I was simply able to outharass him, and if he tried to go in for a kill I'd just unload everything on him.

Second time I took Mordekaiser. I played extremely aggressive and managed to outfarm him and get my shield up and run out of there before he could poke me hard.

Well then the Urgot I played as Morde must have sucked. I was able to dodge his abilities and put my burst in to farm the minions and get away with my shield taking the damage.


But if a good Urgot can **** on Morde, then take Yorick.

If you're trying to counter the pirate, Fiora is a good choice I think. Her W parries most of the parley, at least the part that's considered an autoattack. The bonus damage I'm more unsure of.
