Yeah, tested this - didn't came out very good..
But it works. '1 for that.
I just prefer playing Vlad the usual way at top or mid.

I am not going to downvote or upvote, here's why.

On 4 out of the 5 builds, you suggest Scaling Armor Yellows for runes.

Flat Armor Yellows are for early game, since it provides defense in all lanes except mid lane.

Scaling Armor Yellows makes you easier to kill earlygame. I see no need for them unless you are Rammus. Most people do not own these runes unless they are PBE players.

I am not going to downvote, because, frankly, the rest of the guide works. I've tried it in a real game in the PBE and only died in the beginning. You have opened my eyes.

When I see this build i have say jesus , what a **** , but i have read all here , and prob it and its work .
I have play with vlad as ap , but this build is much more pass to my legendary vlad :D

lol reason i read this because i need to choose a good 1v2 solo top champ and am suck between swain, vlad and heim. Btw any good suggestions and reason why?

hahaha same feeling , i played vlad ages ago when he was free and i did bad playing him and i hated him , i was lazy to ready about him to be able to use it the right way , but this build encouraged me to buy him and try to play him the right and possible ways (You may say why do you read this guide when you didn't plan to buy him nor have him. The answer is i am used to go to mobafire and read some random guides when i am bored , and this guide was the one for today.)

What can i say other than i enjoyed reading this guide , i normally like the tanki champions , either i am the main tank or tanki dps , and this guide was enough for me to buy vlad just to try this build.

I also say ignore the trolls or people who talk without thinking , anytime i play a champion in un-usual way some people cry , like day ago i play fizz jungle (some people tried it , some don't know it can) and by the time i do red my hp reached 25% and our ad carry say look at his hp it was a close call , and 10 seconds after it i got the first blood , i was "in jungling the hp doesn't matter , my ganks matter" , after this match (7 kills - 0 death i was lucky to survive a sure kill from karth ulti because my team canceled his ulti - 10 assists) for them seeing fizz as jungle was usual , the thing they are only 9 players , you will need more people to use the build till the community approve it.

I am sure on ur vlad matches you approved to some that you can play vlad this way , and with this guide some people will approve it to others ,, so keep it up :).
