I prefer you pick teemo and get fed

Hello! Your build has been very useful for me, so far it's the guide that best fits my gameplay. I just had a game 4/4/13 and I was on the winning team. The only thing is I jungled very little because I had to solo top.

Other Amumu builds don't work so well because they are a full tank and a full tank only works in premade teams with good communication. Otherwise it's very difficult to have good coordination, in an average game you only read: "all mid", "push top", etc. so Amumu needs to deal damage by himself to scare enemies off.

On my last game the enemy team had mostly melee fighters dealing physical damage so Magic Resist wasn't needed. I got Ionian Boots of Lucidity (Cooldown reduction)instead of Sorcerer's Shoes and Thornmail (armor) instead Aegis of the Legion.

Thank you for your build, you were right, this Amumu build is waaaaay more fun than pure tank!

Remember heart of gold. Dont take bandage in lvl 3

This is the exact reason I like Ap amumu better than full tank XD.

Again, I agree with mystical. Regrowth is a better starting item.

I'm not a big fan of AP on Amumu tbh. If you gave him more survivability he could run despair longer and be a threat longer and soak more damage for he team. I see tanky Amumu beat AP Amumu time and time again.

If you are going to get late game offensive power, you'll get the most bang for your buck out of a void staff. The base damage of your despair is very high, but much of it will be mitigated by MR. This will help that.

Also, Randuin's Omen would be a nice asset to you. Probably more than a Rylai's.

The slow is much more substantial / fight effecting than the Rylai's w/ AoE. Having a RO and a FH on the team is a huge asset/hindrance against their AD carry and often fighter.

This looks better :) The only thing you might want to consider is starting with Regrowth Pendant and one health pot, since that way you'll get Philo stone faster :). Anyway, I gave it a +1 for continueing to update this guide ^^.

REally short, not too much color or pictures. thats for anithstetics, but for the actual meat of this...
start off with a phillys stone or heart of gold. this will increase your gold income by an amazing rate. now, rylais isnt a great choice on amumu as most of his spells are AOE and his stun...well stuns them. switch it out for some more tanky items as he can be built AP AD off tank, so either zhonyas hourglass or like you have, sunfire cape. banshees veil and rod of ages i have found are great on him.
get tantrum first, and i like to max it early to kind of put a stop to AD harrasment a bit, it helps a LOT. for me the skill priority is R>E>W>Q

I agree with mystical, philostone at least. A bit of mana/hp regen is needed in the jungle anyway.

I think you are waiting too long for tier 2 boots as well. Should be right after philo imo. Better MS = better ganks = better jungler

Personally, I like the sunfire before abyssal, but with the double AP meta...I can see abyssal scept being strong.

I prefer getting Philosopher's Stone and Heart of Gold on Amumu jungle for the extra gold. Especially if you get counterjungled. Apart from that the build looks like a plain wall of text. You might want to give it some love with some details. I reccomand jhoijhoi's build guide and template, you can find it on this site.
