Go the tanky build if you wanna be tanky.

The damage build is there to move like jesus over water and have a 100% evasion rate

the damage is there but i feel its not built tanky enough and the cost is too steep early game.

I do not like your choice of boots and would like more explanation on the choices you made for skill sequence and masteries.

I'm going to switch out the extra PD for a Madred's to add some extra armor and make up for the lost AD and Attack Speed, tell me how it goes.

a decent guide , a bit on the squishy side, but you definitely have his core down
i tried this build out and i ended up 9/3/7 with a maokai support

This build will make Hecarim squishy

I would but, it gives nice buffs which all adds up. You don't really need anymore damage/armor since you have nice lifesteal and good damage.

ok build buy you need to change 1 of the pd into something else

He isn't that squishy to be honest. With the lfesteal and his ability, he survives quite well. Also for the cons, I meant he doesn't do alot of damage. Also there are armor runes to help you and Force of Nature magic resist. So he's pretty safe.

How is this build working?
You say on of his cons is not loads of damage. With the armor your lacking in the build/masteries, it looks like hes gonna not do loads of damage, AND be very squishy.
I could very well be wrong, but let me know how it works out! (Maybe you just need to add alternative / suggestive items)
