I just played him enough to get a feel where he would excel and thought I would share part of my experience, you don't need to play a champ a mil. times to do that; these are just my thoughts only and by far the best guide ever :/ ; I will update anything of importance ;

I am about to get him, now just from observing this, he should be an ap build champion. you gain enough ad from bonus attack speed. which would be in your trinity force, OR lichbane. i would also build a phantom dancer and a blood thirster. ap wise. depending how mana hungry he is mamune or staff. whichever you prefer(i think id try the staff seeing most of his spells stack ap) rod of ages for the hp. and maybe a rylies. Just a thought. maybe Ill post a build of my own once I get hecarim, and play him until I figure out the best way to play him.
