Top lane Riven as AD Carry??? Build proposal

First, Riven is not a "him." Second off, your build isnt full AD carry...An AD carry build is designed for putting out the absolute most attack damage possible. What you have there is just a typical Riven build without Maw of Malmortius. So your only slightly more squishy and *only* because you dont have the added protection of that awesome magic sheild that Hexdrinker and Maw of Malmortius gives you. This is by no means an AD carry build. And lets just say that you *do* decide to build items like phantom dancer and infinity edge (like an ad carry) on riven, I have to ask, why...in the name of owning solo top, would you EVER, want to do that. The reason that Riven owns so hard solo top is because she already has amazing damage, utility, and survivability inlane. Also, she is almost impossible to gank because of her amazing escape. If you were to build her in a *true* ad carry build all you would be giving her is extra damage. Losing her amazing survivability and her amazing ability to just dominate top lane and jungle. Speaking of jungle, how is she supposed to last 2 seconds against a good counter jungler like shyvana in the jungle? Also about top lane, what happens when she gets ganked by a CC heavy jungler (aka Amumu, Alistar, Blitzcrank, Mundo, etc..) She gets shut down faster than an ashe top.[/quote]

Why? Because you die quicker. I did find out on accident once that Riven makes a great tank. Our Alistar in bottom (support/tank) DCed and everybody else on the team was lacking decent initiation qualities (AoE CC) and they were all squishy. I dominated lane and we won 4v5 because Riven's awesome ability to throw out damage without needing too much AD while being extremely difficult to kill (including shield) and having great AoE CC.
