Anyway, I agree, you shouldn't get multiple deathcaps. You'd get a higher damage yield by getting items such as a Void Staff.

I was talking about big ticket expensive items anyway, not consumables and Doran's items.

Considering there's usually at least TWO (sometimes up to FOUR) champions that start with THREE potions (and boots), a support that usually carries about 5 wards with them at any one time, and the AD carry will usually get more than 1 Doran's Blade.

Don't just stack deathcaps like that, other good items would be Deathfire Grasp, Zhonya's Hourglass and Void Staff.

Stacking multiples of the same item is rarely a good idea.
