I'd advise you to build a little tankier earlier on (like, instead of your BC) and I'd GREATLY advise Flash on Warwick. Flash > Ult is invaluable, and Flash is incredibly good as it is on Champions that CAN'T do that.
Great job though, extremely detailed and well explained.
I mean like I used WW since like I joined. And this build is nothing I've seen before
I still don't +1 though it lacks any penetration
When you think about it a bit, Warwick is a champion who doesn't benefit greatly from Madred's Bloodrazors. You see, he has his Hungering Strike, which already steals 20% of the enemy's max health (that equals 5 AA with Madred's). I do realize this item is good with his ulti, but really, that's the only thing it's good for.
Instead of spending 2800 gold on that upgrade, you could spend it on, say, a Force of Nature or a Randuin's Omen. Upgrade the Razor to a Wriggle's instead.
Damage based on the enemy's max health looks nice, but it's too easy to counter with magic res, which makes it a bad item against most tanks, but still a good item against high HP/low mres builds (like AP Cho, Vladimir and Frozen Mallet Teemo).
Try Tank Warwick btw, it's awesome.
I appreciate your concern CBandicoot and I've added a new section called Why Madred's Bloodrazor to address your point, please refer to it for my response. As for Force of Nature, I've detailed its benefits and exactly why it is also a great item on Warwick in the Itemization (alternative) section as well. You are correct however in saying that magic resistance will counter the damage by max health components, but that's exactly why this build focuses on magic penetration, to maximize the effects of these proc-based magic damage items and max health damage attacks.
And I do like tankwick, it's not my preferred style because it completely lacks damage output and is only useful for the 1.7sec suppress when ganking. In the introduction I detail the benefits of this build, tanking isn't one of them unfortunately, but I think you'll like the abilities this confers if you give it a try. Thanks though for the input!
