Here's some tips, I've been playing a lot of games with offensive leona support (ignite + exhaust) this is just so strong. anytime we engage a carry he dies and his support too if he tries to help his carry. The standart AD carry build seems good, but isn't worth your prefered one. :)

Hey thanks! Absolutely agree on - she's one of, if not the best tank for a burst carry like . I've got a lane mate who occasionally plays her and you're right; as soon as we both hit 3 and have our Wombo Combo up, down goes the entire lane. The only exceptions are early ganks - but thankfully, Leona's got enough disrupt to make those a horrible experience for the jungler.

I created an account after looking over this guide. Its one of the best Varus guides (IMO) right now. A definite +1. Cant wait to try it out when I get a chance.

been using this guide since i found it and it works really well for me. I like a nice steady farm on the bot and the wriggles is what the Kog build i use rushes as well. Loving the early phage as well, i like it better than double doran's blades since it offers a better utility than just 6% life drain. Once the votes start up you get a +1 from me.

Yeah, I've considered that - and it entirely depends on the situation. My games so far have been against higher health tanks, like Volibear and Blitzcrank, where the percentage bonus from is far more affective. Maxing makes sense, if you're dealing with squishies - I agree there.

This is exactly how I build him with the exception that I like to start with boots first.
With the early life steal and slow it makes Varus so much harder to deal with.

Great build!
My biggest issue so far with Varus is his survivability in team fights, 1v1 or 2v1, I can handle just about anyone but in a team fight, I always get targeted and nuked. Your guide adds a bit more survivability and crowd control. I cannot wait to try it out later today.
