Primal Surge. She also has incredible mobility in either form using Aspect Of The Cougar. She has a long distance harass Javelin Toss while not in cougar form, and strong close quarters combat ability while in cougar form. She also has Bushwhack traps which can act as wards if used intelligently (these traps also hugely debuff the enemies defenses when they walk into them). All in all, she is a very versatile and very resourceful champion with a lot of power and a lot of room to perfect your skills.
AP nidalee is basically made for poking the enemy team, unless you build bruiser AP, in which case you can be more involved in team fights. AD nidalee, when built as a bruiser as well, is the one that I believe would be his top tier nidalee. This is because she can hold her own at top against ANY champion, and I mean any. A couple will pose more issues than others of course and some you will need to learn how to deal with.

AD bruiser Nidalee rocks people's pants. AP Nidalee tears newbs down and might not even fall off late. I find her AP version ridiculous though, specially those who take up mid. I literaly never lost to one in lane (lawl, only one nuke that I can dodge with boots + minions), since my damage output usually surpasses her even with the cougar.

It's because she is basically one of the most annoying champions in the game.

If she goes support, she can be a ***** with her free wards and amazing poke.
Come late game, she has amazing split push power because she has so many ways to escape along with an AS boost+heal on whatever she wants.

Long time nid player honestly she just has good poke and lane power no matter what role. I prefer ad bruiser honestly shes amazing at getting in focusing down carry. Ad nid kinda reminds me of shyvana with unlimited ult she gets same res that she gets but much longer and she is very tank once your warmogs and wiggles are doen plus your runes/masteries she can easily turret dive.
Because you can put her anywhere and have good results. From early, through mid, and finally to late game, she can switch up roles and priorities very effectively. She is currently my favourite champion.
