Im looking for Riven builds S3 and I found this one... seems interesting.. but is not too expensive? just the first 3 items cost 3k+ gold..

I will try this build later and vote if like or not :)

yeah, Sometimes, if I have to deal with a lot of harass in lane, I go with Doran's shield.
But I just really like going boots first, and I have no idea why, haha :P

Not bad,pretty good guide.You are right about most things.I think you went a bit too much tanky on your 1st guide.I like 2nd guide more.You are right about all items,but am I only one to say that you are weak when you don't pick Doran's Items,I would pick Shield as it gives you better stats.Maybe both Shield and Blade will be good.But who knows.
