It was good
About my thoughts personally I'm not a professional film critic but I can say this. It's not a slasher action movie set in space.
It has action for the people who need to be moved though.
The greatest criticism I heard was it's not a masterpiece or it's not blade runner etc but in the same breath to compare it with such good science fiction is uplifting. As far as horror I thought it was pretty horrifying.
This movie is going to set the bar for how good your movie is, at least I hope it does.
I feel like Elizabeth Shaw when she was looking at the alien race for the first time with an idea that she was going to see angels, trumpets, pearly gates, St. Peter and the whole shabang. Maybe it's too early to call but I am sure excited.

BTW i saw prometheus and thought it was a very good explenation to how the aliens became as they was!
I don't wanna spoil but i also think it was a great movie!
I wanted it to just be sci fi epic, I really like seeing imagined worlds etc and it looked cool in that aspect. I wanted it to be more like Alien where it was more about suspense than horror / action. Horror is still better than action for a movie like this though, imo. :P
Still debating seeing it in theaters, too many movies coming out this summer. XD
The blonde girl was annoying, hell Elizabeth was annoying too.
