I used this guide and, my second pvp game I got a killing spree of 13 :). Very good guide, and good results.

Can you attach some of your scores in the match history? Best guide I've ever read on mobafire, but I want to see some of the scores mal gets (Mainly kills or assists). Also, it's just something I like to see in a guide. Dunno why. :)

I have tested three times to be sure, you can't use Deathfire Grasp with your ultimate anymore. It cancels your channeling.

But still a good item and good guide, but my build has always WotA for sustain.

I like everything except the combo order. I've found what works best for me is cotv first because im usually gonna try to take them down while they have somewhat high health 50%-65% because that's when they are least expecting my full combo to come down on them. That being said if I use my other skills first and somehow miss cotv I usually end up standing there with all skills on cd with my thumb up my ***. while they just walk away or use their combo and kill me. So i never use the rest of my combo unless cotv hits first. so for me the combo is Q-E-W-R-ignite. If you can get that off it's a guaranteed kill.

P.S. Im a video game player not an english major so deal with it :)

Great guide... May i suggest Sapphire Crystal + 2 Red Pots as starting items?
Malzahar has always been my main and I find these items quite effective in season 3. A great boost for his early game ( which is very mana hungry in some cases ).
