Well, the issue is, that you have replace the Sunfire Cape with an Eleisa's Miracle. It is viable, but you are then lacking some damage and armor, but will have increased health and mana regeneration and not to forget the tenacity. For the early game this is pretty useful, thats right. Thanks for the suggestion, Eleisa's Miracle just has come to the Alternative Items section.

Eleisa's miracle gives you +25 Health Regen per 5 seconds +20 Mana Regen per 5 seconds +35 Tenacity, so it can take the place of Mercury treads, so you have swiftness and tenacity

Thanks for the response and related to the suggestion of buying warmogs. Warmogs is not the best item for Amumu, there is Rylais which fits better in this build. Of course, Warmogs give you a huge bunch of health, but thats it. But when you buy Rylais, then you have ability power, health and a slow. I do know that Amumu is pretty mana starving, but you only need that first blue buff.

Also, could you explain me what you said about the Boots? I have read it several times and still didn´t get it. Eleisa's Miracle is an item, which I have never thought of, but the issue is, that I am refusing to build gold per second items with Amumu. I only think that comes, because you have to sell them after a certain amount of time in the game. You could built them into an Eleisa' Miracle of course, but I want to be tanky and also dealing damage.

This is a great starter build. It has a lot of good information, but it also could have so much more. You talked about boots of swiftness and mercury treads and said that the tenacity was good on merc treads, but so was the swiftness, and you said amumu is dependent on blue buff early game. Instead of going straight for Chain Vest, i pick up Eleisa's Miracle. I dont see this item used very often, but it is great for its tenacity, mana regen, and hp regen so you can last longer without recalling. Usually this will suffise your mana problems eliminating the need for Frozen Heart, but the armor from that is the main reason you get that, so i would pick up thornmail instead. Just a suggestion, you should put in a warmogs :D
