You could also check out the guides
section, to find guides for the champs
you play the most. I'm not sure about
pointers, besides the usual ones such as.
1 - Farm your brains out
2 - Don't feed
3 - Call MIA/SS whenever your opponent leaves
4 - Help other lanes if possible
5 - Try to counterpick the enemy (if draft/ranked)
6 - Try to counterpick, when it comes to itemization
7 - Be there for the team fights
I think other than that, it's just up to mastering of
the individual champions.
