Yes. You can play whatever you wish. Any region.
You just have to use a proxy. They can see if you're
from Malaysia, so they direct you to Garena. But if you
use a proxy (like hotspot shield) and then start your client, then you can
select your region and then you can just switch it off
again after you've pressed "Play" in the client.
