he's got really good ganks, he's underrated right now, he seems kind of weak early on, but really strong late game. The problem is he doesn't have strong early damage and relies alot on his teammates to pick up the slack. Additionally, his ganks aren't like alistar's where he forces a flash, theyre strong but it's lacking in both departments

From a jungler pov he's not that good early, he is a jack of all trades but excels in none (average speed, average controlling, average ganking).
That said he's pretty good if gold kicks in.
Problem is you will get just average amounts of gold (I will try use average again!) in the jungle if your ganks are not sccesfull, meaning is risky to play him on a competitive scene as jungler.
I am growing to like him tho, theorycrafting him is currently on my to-do list.
Oh I forgot, he's amazing early ganking top if top is kennen, no idea why, but when I had that combo and I was one of the 2 havoc fell on enemies.
