I agree she is still a good champ and honestly feel like she's a bit underrated atm, but her range is really her only trait. It's strong if you abuse it and can be hard to lane against, but she still gets outbursted by champions like
Graves, Tristana, Corki, Ezreal and others once they get into range (I named these 4 specifically as they have a dash they can use in order to achieve this). Her escape ability is also not as great as those of the champions I've just named, so she's in trouble if someone jumps on her in a teamfight. Unlike other carries, she won't burst targets down and she won't deal a lot of AoE damage, it's just not what she's about and I feel it's the main reason why people don't often pick her.
Her laning phase, however, remains to be strong, make no mistake about it.
