Jayce is a strong pick, I don't know why more people do not play him (I'm thinking skillcap.) Biggest pointer I can give on Jayce is to fire your Q in cannon form b4 laying your gate, makes it less obvious. I have a Jayce guide with a bunch of random stuff, but it never really got popular so it's still like 2 votes.

Because he's garbage and even if a Jayce is fed
they can't carry and couldn't carry, even if their
life depended on it. He's weak and bad. But that's just
in my view, as I don't see any good Jayce players on
EUW. In fact, it often seems he's the new (old) evelyn.
In other words a kind of troll pick. Sure, his kit sounds
formidable, but he just doesn't come across as so.

@LZ: Comparing him to the old Evelynn? No. He's definitely better. He has a decent amount of CC, and if you focus correctly you can dish out a load of damage to the enemy carries. Additionally there's the team speed-buff and just general damage output of his kit, when changing in between stances.
I'm not saying he's an optimum pick or anything - just that he's not nearly as useless as you are making him in your post. ^^
