Hey, I run a small gaming community of League of Legend players. We are all pretty laid back and enjoy having a good time. As you can probably tell, this is my first post on this forum. That's because I specifically created this account for the sole purpose of finding some new people who are interesting in playing games, talking, and getting to know one another.
Up until now, I've been a member of a small group of people who primarily knew each other through high school. Unfortunately, compatibility within the group has always been an issue. In the past I've thought about trying to find a new group of gamer friends but I guess I've never been serious enough to actually do anything. Just recently, however, I was singled out in a particularly disheartening rage scenario which has caused me to think that now might be the time to move on.
Ideally I'm hoping to find a group of gamers who are friendly, and who like talking simply for the sake of talking. Most importantly, I'm interested in people who are mature enough to deal with other people making mistakes when they're playing games. I don't care what anyone says, raging at another person in an otherwise friendly situation is never an appropriate reaction.
The game I play the most is LoL, but I have deep roots in Blizzard games, especially all of the Warcraft games. Additionally, I like to play around in Minecraft and Fallout: New Vegas.
Here's a little more about me, in case you're interested: I'm about to enter my 4th year as a Computer Engineering student at the University of Manitoba. I like to play sports and stay fit. And finally, I have a girlfriend who I've been dating for almost four years.
