In the early game, maybe some s are nice for the bonus health, and you can take the Kage's Lucky Pick earlier for the gold generation if you're not farming well.

The is truly the item that makes AP Mid possible.

You could add in and as common mids. I think could out-farm but it's a fairly close match-up. The difficulty is being able to last hit well as Sona and also juggle the abilities so that you can maximize results of .

By the way, the for is really strong for slowing the enemy. It's 40% slow for 2 seconds even when it's still level 1!

Whoa... now that's a whole new concept.

I went 24 kills on a newly made smurf going mid because everyone was -500 ELO and even that was hard to do. We still ended up winning though, and it was fun.

Really like the formatting and how much effort you put into this.

Very Nice written guide! I like the fact that you have explained the items as detailed as you have, and the fact that you bothered to rate the opponents you might meet mid lane.

That said, i think despite this looks like a fun build (and i do play frequently as AP/support), that there will always be better choices for midlane as she will solo get out dmged pretty fast, and she require a DEDICATED amount of skill to be able to use cords perfectly to even be able to sustain in mid.

BUT i love the guide, and big + for the work you put into it! (going to test it tomorrow).

Sona is in fact squishy no matter which way you play her, I see some support Sonas go aura hoarder and end up with 150-180 Def with 100-120 MR but they get shreaded by me. XD I have given AD Sona a few tries, it is just hard to get into a team will let you play Sona in other ways that isn't a support without their constant whining. For me, AP Carry Sona is fun to play, there are some champions that we can oddly doo well aginist. I just love that satisfying feeling of people talking smack cause i'm playing Sona Mid and I end up on killing sprees that they just can't seem to end. :3

So, about ap sona mid. I think she's too squishy to go mid, can be easily ganked. IM GOING TO TRY THIS AS FAST AS I CAN!

You should try to go sona ad too. I heard its cool!
