Durable Diana
If you want armor you build Randuin's or even just a Warden's Mail.
Deathcap as first item is flawed due to the fact you need AP for it to be cost efficient. Rushing an Abyssal or a DFG gives you either: added burst to fulfil the Assassin role with the addition of CDR which is key on Diana, or in the case of Abysall the perfect laning item (provided you are at mid versus AP).
