Post it between spoiler tags:

Ok, so i've been searching a bit and all I found was this:

http://magicalamber.ultracarl.com/Sword%20Art%20Online%20Volume%2001.pdf

My friend told me that isn't a visual novel more of a book. Where a visual novel is sort of a game-a-like version. I do not suppose someone could help me find a direct link to the VISUAL NOVEL.

Thanks in advance!

(Would prefer Volume 1 - Aincrad as the first)

EDIT: Meh, he just told me that visual novels are played on psp.

Eh, sure. I'd rather not get banned, but it's quite interesting.

Chapter 16.5

Sword Art Online is not a visual novel. I said it was a novel, never said it was a visual one. The entire series can be dled off the Baka-Tsuki site in .pdf form.

Direct link: http://www.baka-tsuki.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=4704#p122072
Open the tab under "BeginnerXP" for the entire series in separate links for each volume.
If i need to shrink this to fit any guidelines, let me know.

Thanks, I get awfully curious when things are omitted.

I lose interest in most text-only stories real quick though, so SAO is probably not for me.

I'll stick to my visual stuff :P

And so Blizzard sent unto them this Brawl of Yogg, As a lesson for their sins of Pride and Greed, for he is the Prophet of Madness and RNG. On that day, the tavern descended into an era of chaos and darkness, until the weekend passed and everyone forgot all about it. Amen. Book of SMOrc, Verse 20, Chapter 4." - Feam T

Well, truth be told. I like the anime. I'm not a fan of reading mangas but love watching the series even tho' people tend to say "The manga is better!!!!1"

^Well, in this case it's not even a manga :P

Though if you're looking for any kind of meaningful story of sorts you should probably stay away from anime adaptations..
Most anime adaptations are ****. (for example: Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Berserk, Fairy Tail and LOTS, LOTS MORE)

Well, I like animes with a meaningful story which is why I dont watch : "Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Berserk, Fairy Tail" :D

I am very picky with animes, and mainly just pick a specific genre (Not always the story that drags me ;))

Just a few of those I watched, so you might be able to guess it or google:
Highshcool DxD.
Mai Hime / Mai Otome (First anime I watched, loved it!)
Elfen Lied
Angel Beats
Kaichou wa Maid-sama
Rosario + Vampire. DN Angel
Kampfer.
To love-ru
Mirai Nikki.
Death Note.

Just a few of them, but well. I guess if you know them it shows you what kind of genre I search for (Mixture of it all mainly, fantasy / (ecchi) / romance / action / story)

The Berserk anime has the same story as the manga, which is great, but the art is terribad.

Many of the animes you mention above are probably better as mangas. How many of them have you read?
