First of all: good job @ Riot!
The refund system is another gesture showing how much the company cares for it's customers. KUDOS!
I was super amazed when I read that you can give back skins and champions (3 per lifetime per account). Here is exactly what happened when I talked to Mr. Riot about this.
Mr.RIOT: Refund System now online, you can give back 3 champions or skins in a lifetime.
Blowfeld: Yeah, bye bye Xerath! He was the biggest mistake I ever bought. Thank you, Mr. Riot.
Mr. RIOT: Oh, only stuff you bought within the last 90 days...
Blowfeld: GNARRRRR!!!

Good argument there, they infact do not lose any money.
Guess they have reached a state of income where they can easily delay extra income for a while.

Did not know that, interesting- I bet their support crew is happy to spend time now on more urgent things.
I really did love this. If I was running RIOT I wouldn't have, but I guess it puts them in our good graces and doesn't lose them any money anyway, since all the money you get back can only be put back into their pockets lol.
You could do this already by Emailing support and having them do it (3x per acc), this just made supports life ALOT easier

to be honest I believe 3 per lifetime is quite allright.
I mean, you get a total refund for 3 ingame (!) items you do not like as much as you thought. Still do not see many companies that act like that. Riot should still be able to make a good profit out of the game.
