I recently reached level 20 and am ready to start getting the hang of runes but I have come to a fork in the road.

I recently have been playing Kassadin mid and have really liked him. I like how mobile he is and how crazy of a damage output he has late game with the right build, but I have grown a little tired of him and now have ~9000 ip due to my indecisiveness... Here is my list accompanied by their issues i see in them.

Kennen: He has a high damage output and is very mobile, but he is super squishy
Lee Sin: He sounds awesome, but I have heard he is bad late
Nocturne: he doesnt quite fit my play style but I like him alot
Kog'Maw: very squishy and team has to be built around him, but fun to play and has super long range
Graves: He seems like a badass from what I'veseen, worried he will get nerfed
Shaco: i like his play style, but not high output, and my friend said he isnt very good...

Please Help Me! I'm open to and advice. I'm really interested in Kennen, Lee Sin, and Kog'maw but im wary of them because of their cons. If there is a way to effectively play them and get around their cons please tell.

Thanks- Heuth

Well the best way to get around a champ's con's is just to pracctice-and not play them against the champs or teamcomps that destroy them. For example, don't play Kennen against Ryze. ANd the best way to get around the squishyness of kennen is to learn exactly when to use his lightning rush. That ability by itself makes him extremely hard to gank. And getting a Zhonya's Hourglass is an absolute necessity for mid-late game, you would be AMAZED at how much more survivable that makes you if you can learn when to use that active.

Lee Sin CAN fall off late game, but the point of playing him is to make early-mid game steam roll so hard for your teammates it doesnt even get to lategame. Very mobile, and a high skillcap champ to learn.
Nocturne has fallen off in popularity since his ult got nerfed, he isnt quite as effective as he used to be.
Kog'Maw is EXCEEDINGLY team dependent. I wouldnt recommend trying to play him in solo q.
Graves is probably the most popular ADC right now. Great burst, good utiliity, decent escape, high damage output. A good buy.
Shaco is a very high skillcap champ. Early to mid game he is a monster but tends to fall off late game, but like lee sin, his purpose is to make sure late game DOESNT happen. 4 escape mechanics for oh **** situation, and 3 different chase mechanics.

However I would suggest that you take that 9k IP (now that you have hit 20) and buy a runepage. HIGHLY. Suggest.

If you have any questions please let me know, I would be happy to give you a hand XD

I think you need to spend that IP on runes.
