Ever since the Honor system was introduced, there is always that person who begs for honor. What I want to remind people is that honor is earned, not simply given. For example, if you go 20/0 and act like a jerk, I will not feel as if you've earned +honor, especially if it was really your support/lanemate who fed you. In fact, I am far more likely to award honor to someone simply for playing a support character, because I know that it's not an easy role and it's often overlooked. Also, asking for honor (end game "honor me plz") is a sure way to not get any honor. I don't know if there are others who feel this way, but I'm sure there are.

So play nice, and have fun. The honor will come.

I only honor the friendly or helpful teammates. If you're going to be cocky don't expect honor. Although I will admit, the Honor system was a great idea by Riot. Let's make people control themselves and not be *******s, just to stroke their egos!

I believe the system works, as honor appeals to me. It has forced me to be nicer, and give more advice to enemies that need it.

I think it's a useful system. If not to actually provide help to people, at the very least it attempts to keep people "in check".

It's just an incentive to play nicely, honor really means nothing. If they publicly showed your honor, iff your e-peen could grow because of honor, or if they gave you bonuses, the community would improve soooo much ! Imagine if 10 honor points could be traded for 1 game ip boosts or something, would you not try to be nicer or work better in a game ?
