No plans of updating to current game at this time.

I have no plans to update this build/guide at this point and time.

It's extremely out of date (I don't even find what you see to be viable in Season 3) as well and I doubt I'm going to update it anytime soon if I decide to... and I've kind of moved away from Caitlyn and have only re-surfaced playing her again recently after not doing so for 4 months or so.

I'm curious. What exactly do you mean by this category?

EDIT: I assume you mean if your ahead the other team or behind the other team.

i use the same build and it seems to work pretty well. You should include a Ahead/Behind category for items.

Changes to current guide:

Switched build order between Bloodthirster and Guardian Angel in bot lane.
Switched build order between Bloodthirster and Banshee's Veil in mid lane.
Switched Ignite to Heal on both builds.



I understand the Ignite part and will probably switch to Heal in the future. (Done.)

Why Guardian Angel on Caitlyn, perhaps if she was tanking.. well, the issue is unless your facing a team that doesn't know what they're doing at all.. they should be smart enough to immidietly prioritize you as the main target since your the damage dealer and that ends up with you lying on the ground dead if you have absolutely no defense on you at all and a dead AD carry does nothing but hurts your team. So yes, it's still a better idea to have a defensive item on any carry you play.

Last Whisper is situational but at this point, most champions by end-game will have high amounts of armor, especially if your killing them repeatedly.

Runes can always be switched out to whatever you prefer. This is personally how I like my rune setup. The one you listed is the standard carry setup (except usually AD quints instead of crit).



I would like to thank you for the amazing insight on what is wrong with the current build. You also obviouslly didn't read the guide at all because I advised you to test the build before you down-vote and to give helpful feedback if you do. You did neither.

Really slick format. I think we've pretty much all benefitted from jhoihoi's guide :P I would have to agree with most of what the above poster said but ignite can still be good. Maybe just switch it with Heal on your main build so you won't get as much hate.

I don't understand why you would use ignite with Caitlyn, in order for her to use it she has to be fairly close and see it as an issue. The Guardian Armor on Cait? Perhaps if she was tanking. The last whisper is only useful if the enemy team is incredibly tanky. your runes are all messed up it should be armor,magic resist, attack speed, and crit for quints
