Does Thornmails stack? So does 2 of them gives 60% reflect? or just 30%

If you are falling behind hardly to enemy AD like Master Yi or Vayne or whoever, and you already bought a Thornmail and still getting your health burn like hell when he target you, could you just buy other thornmail and get extra deflect so he really suffer ? or does the damage return effect never stack? just one thornmail is useful and other one is useless?

There's not really a reason to buy thornmail against a Yi or Vayne.

Anyways no it doesn't stack. The armor does but the unique passive doesnt (hence unique)

    BUT DONT STACK THORNMAILS

If the enemy autoattackers are fed simply get randuins and frozen heart and bam you got a useless enemy carry.

Exactly Embracing. There are only a few champions i can say i get thornmail for. The only one i can think of who iget it for would be Rammus, and simply due to the synergy.

"Returns 30% of damage taken as magic damage" > means the return damage from Thornmail is magic damage.

@jhoijhoi are you saying that the damage type Thornmail returns to the enemy is magic damage? :O

Actually, if Yi has no life steal or magic resist, a Thornmail will return back a lot of damage. At lower elos/lower levels (pre30), Thornmail is a decent choice if the enemy AD has neglected to buy MR or life steal.

To complete Embracing's answer, any item that says "Unique passive/active/aura" does not stack that active, passive or aura with another copy of that item.

To expand on this unique auras stack twice if 2 people have them.

Which is to say that If you have two Aegis of the Legion, you will get both buffs, and the other person that has one will get two buffs, the rest of your team will get only one.

stacking Thornmail will leave your opponent laugh at you. if you want more armor, go buy other armor items that also give other perks.
for example: Thornmail + Randuin's Omen = armor + reflect + as debuff active and passive + health regen

Thornmail + Frozen Heart = armor(199 armor wtf) + reflect + huge mana + cd + as debuff passive

whilst Thornmail + Thornmail = armor + reflect.

    well. its your choice.

The passive is unique therefore, no, it does not stack. The armor you get from Thornmail, however, does stack.

Thornmail does NOT stack. It has a unique passive. However the armour from the item does stack and it is cost-effectively the best armour item in the game. But it lacks utility of other items that give presence (Aegis of the Legion, Sunfire Cape, etc).
