[/quote] Nunu is really far from overpowered and falls somewhere below Lee Sin/Amumu/Maokai. The real nerfs need to happen on Lee Sin since I see him in almost every single game in ranked, it's ridiculous.[/quote]

But they just arent that great. Especially when you have super mobile champs like [[zed]], [[corki]], and [[ahri]] to contend with. Maybe im biased because im used to the god-tier ganks from using [[maokai]], but i just dont see nunu ganks being that amazing. But you are correct (somewhat) in that he transitions awkwardly into lategame. It's difficult to really put a nunu in the proper place. His biggest asset is that his ult is invisible to everyone else if he does it from the bush, and is really effective if he does it from outside the baron pit while the enemy team is grabbing it. Really if you want nunu to be a damage dealer late game, you either have to have a team that is willing to bait and set traps to lead people into, or have a nunu that knows EXACTLY when to start ulting in the middle of a teamfight so he doesn't get CC'd to death before his ult goes off on its own. I've been able to do both (rarely) and when it works, it leads to easy triple and quadra kills, then ice blast slows the last man standing so the rest of your team can eat him like a pack of hungry piranha. The trick is actually getting the whole thing off without a hitch. A cheat for the "middle of the fight" option, have [[morgana]] [[black shield]] you. its trollicious.[/quote]
