I am counting 10 comment to votes and it's currently displaying that there's 9 votes. I think it's just taking a bit to update.

I'm having this problem where I have 18 votes on my guide, and it showed 17 at one point, but then went down to 16 and now to 15 even though I have 18 votes. I don't understand.

Overall I found that the most accurate page for viewing the number of votes you currently have is the guide search page. I'm not sure why that one is always updated first but it is. When I notice a new vote on the search page I then check out my champion's page and it confirms whether it was an upvote or downvote.
The guide itself usually takes a bit of time to correctly show the votes at the top and sometimes you'll find that the score at the top and the score in the little box on the right doesn't match simply because the different sections of the site haven't all updated yet.
Don't worry, most people access you guide from the search function which means that they see your current score and not anything that is out of date.

@Le Pro of d00m, your guide has 23 votes in the database, the display on your guide is accurate.
@Aquilegia, your guide has 45 votes in the database, the display on your guide is also accurate.
Cubby1313 is correct, sometimes it takes a while for caches to clear and your score display to update. Also note that, users that voted while comment to vote was enabled, have the option of deleting their comment, which takes the vote with it.
If you guys are worried about a bug we had last week that was causing some votes to disappear, know that the bug is fixed and all guides were patched retroactively. There are no missing votes.
