I question your runes. "Countering the counters" means you're going to have to face Ryze roots, Anivia stuns, Leblanc bursts. You absolutely need at the very least magic resist glyphs, or you'll be zoned really hard.

You know what? You are totally correct. That never came across my mind. I'll play around with that and see where it goes. Thank you so much for that suggestion.

Really nice guide, it looks good. You should probably add more enemies in your list though, because there are definitely more than just those few. Some examples are Cassiopeia, Galio (as stated above), Karthus, and Anivia. Those champions are pretty viable right now and you might run into them. Another thing is you probably should turn on Comment to Vote. This way your guide wont get as many troll voters.

Good guide ^^ I see a lot of potential. +1

Like I said in the chapter introduction, I only post anti-counter strategies that I have successfully accomplished them. I haven't had enough experience to really analyze these tactics, therefore, I can't confidently suggest them.

I recently played a good game against a Cassiopeia, so I might add to the anti-counter list soon.

Honestly, I am also looking forward to finding ways to counter Galio. It's just that you don't see Galio's these days... well at least I don't. Same goes for Anivia.

I don't find Karthus's that often either. What I'm hoping to learn is whether or not Cleanse can remove his ultimate, since it shows up as a debuff in your champion status.

If you have answers or suggestions, I'd be happy to try them and add them to the guide.

this guide is beautifully well put together and to the point.

my question is though, why hextech? I've never really been a fan of the item on ahri myself maybe thats why im so skeptical. well yes, I understand that it does give a decent amount of spell vamp but I mean so does ahri's passive. most of her spells are AoE so they only heal you for 4% of the damage they do. I just think that potions do a better job of healing AND they let me rush my DFG faster for ganking other lanes.

WotA and Athene's work together for excellent sustain, particularly team fights. With extra Spell Vamp, building damage items will be twice as rewarding. Also, you can't always depend on hitting full stacks on Essence Theft in a team fight.

Personally, I wouldn't build DFG so early in the game. Since it deals a percent of the target's health as damage, I would build it later when people actually have 2k health or more. Athene's can make up for the CDR you'd miss out on DFG

i really like this guide, but one thing bothers me...
what about galio? this guy is a monster when played right, i would love to see tips about him too

Me, too. I mentioned that I'm still looking for strategies to play against him. It's just that you don't see Galio go mid very often... or in games at all.
