Wits end, Reverie, BoM, trinity, and Frozen Heart are all items I used to get on Skarner. Youre not telling me anything Im not aware of. After I started playing this way I started winning more games because I could tank better and tank sooner. It works. Im not saying that youre wrong because your not. But you are wrong in thinking that he needs to be built a certain way to succeed. Thats obviously not the case considering my success with the champion last season. 65% win ratio over 80+ games and 1750 elo doesnt lie. The only new additions are Ancient Golem and Frozen Fist. Everything else I do carried over from last season.

And Frozen Heart isnt that great right now. Black Cleaver made AD casters more popular then ever and that item has no impact on champions like that. And the effect on the ADC is minimal. All your really doing is taking away the ATS they get from boots.

I don't know why you are buying so much ap, it scales horribly. Skarner scales only with cooldown reduction and attack speed.

You need shurelyas much earlier, and boots of mobility is a must at the moment. Junglers that cannot use mobility boots are at a huge disadvantage, and they already work perfectly on skarner anyways.

Frozen fist is pretty much overrated on skarner, don't buy it. I understand its cool to have in a build, but frozen heart is so much better.

The abyssal really ruins the build.

Seems like a pretty solid build. I don't play Skarner much but I enjoy your other guides and this one seems to be well thought out just like the others. I hope to see more guides from you in the future!

Before i comment this guide i want to say something about your garen-teemo video.

Epic job again.
Unlike Garen and Yi i did not play skarner before your guides.
But first you are a main reason why garen is now who he is and second i really like your Yi guide.
So i bought Skarner and tested your build.
Result -> I came, I saw, I conquered (Julius Caesar).
