Lol, i've come up with this for a long time now. i was trying to finish my rune page and then new champions stumbled across and so my rune page was never finished :D
anyways prefer buying the type of champ u usually play
I like to play ad bruisers, so i buy champions like jayce and xin zhao.
but u know just buy darius.... because he's the most op champ. ulti should get buffed.
But there's my part on buying champs =)

Ok here's the 411
1. No1 can tell you which champ to buy if you don't even know for yourself.
2. If you can't decide between 2/3 "SIMILAR" champs, again,i refer to my #1.
3. You have to what kinda champion you want to play,support/adc/ad bruiser/ap caster/tank/etc... or all.Try to play with as many champs as possible,at least imo.If you can play only 1/2 roles in a game, you will not be that liked by your team...
4. If you need more info on any champs,to help you decide, just go to Youtube and search for an in depth guide for that champ...there are a bunch.
5. Most important :
- if you are not lvl30 ,invest your IP's into RunePages! (or if you use RP,buy the Runepage bundles ) and Runes.
