I was wondering if you master a lot of speed in your support mastery, would it make a big difference in game play for slow characters? Or(without counting boots) would it be better to improve your movement speed buying items instead? Which is better? or Runes perhaps.

For Ziggs I surely will not get bonus movement speed :P

If you master his W you will have no trouble escaping.
And chasing... well same story :D

For Nami I do not know though.

Atleast for support, its better if u get items instead runes, i prefer some defense than mov speed

For support probably best to have the movement speed from the utility side.
For tank junglers like Amumu and Maokai you want the Movement Speed Quints
For mids people like Ryze can take 9-0-21 as well.

I actually run MS quints on all my AP mids...and on quite a few of my supports...but I'm in the minority there.
