Hi I'm not a very good player (Bronze to be exact) and I am probably completely wrong about this but to me it makes sense to take your Q Piercing Arrow first because of the easy poke denying the enemy their cs. I havent tried taking w first but I'll be sure to try it but I recommend talking a little bit more on why you should take W first. Just my input.

Well i generally consider this one of the little viable guides on Varus, since it sticks to Pro Player/LCS wisdom on one side while taking into account that non-pro players are playing to different standards and situations. I would like to see a slight expansion on the works well/bad against/with section. I'm also willing to help you with that should you not have met certain enemies or teamcomps yet. Just PM me if there is something you didnt play against with Varus yet I'm pretty sure I've met it (considering I was in Bronze for a VERY long time).

im confused by what you mean by "mid-high level". Granted that the section i think your'e talking about is vague and bad on my part. Also, people often disengage when they have 2-3 blight stacks on them so you'll probably only get to activate 2 at the most in lane. I get Blood thirster first because varus' range is not on the high end but still up there(575 compared to Caitlyn's 650 while most other carries ranges are 550), while at the same time giving your sustain and abilities much better burst and dueling potential than the Infinity Edge would if you bought it first. The auto attack sequence works just fine, so i dont know why you would have such a distaste for it.

well tried it, not impressed , besides shooting peas at the enemy before u get the IE ,u can't really do anything.

sorry to say but not that good, i don't like the A Sequence, u spent 1 point on defense badly and u don't want botrk before the blood thirster.
u will never be allowed to have 3 stacks of blight on an mid-high lvl opponent and u don't have the poke strength do kill it.
but i will try your advices and repost(hopefully).

This is a decent guide, It has potential as the information is very good and you evidently know Varus well. However, it is somewhat short and lacking in coding, I would suggest adding a few more chapters and maybe adding in some design to make it look more appealing. But good job, I think I will vote up despite it being a little bland, as like I said, the information is great!

Guide is okay I guess, though I would add more explanation towards the items and more coding in the runes and mastery section.
