Haha yeah I figured it'd never make it into a tourney but I'm only level 9 and have only been playing a couple days so I think I've got a long road ahead of me before (if ever) I have to cross THAT bridge. Plus I've been looking for a fun/unique project for my Makey Makey.
Some suggestions in no particular order.
If you play a lot of ADCs or supports, you might want the stop command, mapped by default to the "S" key.
You might enjoy using the MaKey MaKey to have Play-Doh figures to trigger your dance and laugh, for spamming purposes. I imagine you'd want to move their keys to "H" and "J" or something, to make it easier.
You might want to map "Ctrl" somewhere, for quick access to leveling your skills. (In case you didn't know, you can use Ctrl + [skill key] to level up your skills when you level up; it really helps when you need the mouse for other things, and for not having to pick your skill at level 1 until you're right about to use it.)
You might want to map "Tab" somewhere, so that you can check the scoreboard for enemy/ally items and builds.
You might want to map in the shop button, which is "P" by default. I find that it's easier to close the shop using it than finding the little X with my mouse, and it helps to be able to open the shop while recalling.
You should probably change your LoL control scheme to smartcast by default. It will really, really serve you well later in the game by allowing you to use your skills more quickly, and you might as well start getting used to it now. This will also mean that you won't necessarily need to map "Shift" to your controller. (Although you may want to put your normal casts on Shift + [skill key], just in case you want to check ranges and such.) You can also use smartselfcast to similarly devalue "Alt"; then when you cast a skill without a legal target it will automatically target you if it can.

Thanks for the suggestions lifebaka. I've got some nice arcade style red push buttons that would make a great "stop" button. not sure where to use the other one yet. I'm thinking things like "tab" and "p" for store can be put higher/further away since I want need to use those quickly. I may even use the two already built in up on the top left for that then put my pings where my thumb rests for quicker commands. As far as this "smartcast" function is concerned I'll play a few rounds with it on a QWERTY first to get used to it. I'll still build in a CTRL, ALT, and SHIFT just not sure how "convenient" I'll need to make them.
Again. Thanks for the input. I'll keep posting pics as the build goes on.

I'm fairly new to the game as a whole and this is my first post here on Mobafire. So far I'm totally in love with LoL (like a heroine addict is in love with the needle) though I definitely still fall into the "noob" category. Anyways....
By trade I'm an electronics engineer so my brain is always looking to improve upon whatever is in front of me, which, at this time, happens to be a fairly cramped keyboard layout, especially for those extended, late-night sessions. So naturally I start thinking about different key bindings and a way to make my gaming experience more comfortable, ergonomic and at the same time maybe providing me with an improved control scheme.
I do not, however want to stop at a new keyboard layout.... I want to craft a custom style layout (à la classic brawler arcade controllers) using a recently acquired "Makey Makey (http://www.makeymakey.com/) and a scavenged PS2 "Beat Mania" controller. It already has a perfectly spaced 4 button layout for the QWER skill keys, 3 buttons of equal size/ease above that (items 1-3?) and two smaller buttons in the top left (pings?) In addition, I plan to add 3 smaller buttons between the two rows for items 4-6 (I tend to keep my passive items in those slots), three small buttons for Summoner spells and recall, and a key or two for shift/alt functions (though I rarely find myself using these.)
So Summoners I have two questions for you:
1)What other buttons do you find necessary that I haven't already thought about?
2)Would this be viewed as "cheating" or in any way seem unfair?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mighty Abraxas/Hamtronix
