It's really not so hard to hold off on the publish button until your guide is completed. If you need weeks to work on your guide, then you publish weeks later. Else by the time you complete it, your guide will have fallen off the top and no one will look at it ever again.

I have upvoted to make his impact less, and also because I rather like your guide.

PLEASE though, in the future, do NOT publish guides that are incomplete. There is a save function for a reason. He is perfectly justified in downvoted incomplete guides, and in the future if you post another incomplete guide, the build could be the new meta for league and I would still downvote.
