It happens to me all the time when I use wireless internet.
Thank you jhoijhoi, Keondre, LaCorpse, The_Nameless_Bard, Arcana3, Apfeljack, Hogopogo, eddie199, Xiaowiriamu, and JEFFY40HANDS for the spectacular sigs!

That would be because your internet is unstable.
Which has nothing to do with speeds.
While their are ways, software-wise, to improve the stability of your internet, it is complicated and quite a lot of time wasted effort. The simplest solution would be to create a wired network if you don't have one already available, and use that.
If the problem still exists, there are two reasons. Either your provider is unstable, which means you would have to change providers, or your area is unstable. This tends to happen a lot actually, and there is not much you can do about it, but I doubt that this is your problem since it is usually fixed in a few months.
Of course, there is always the possibility that your problems are caused by a peak in network connectivity in your area, or a LOT of people use the internet all the time, but if it's constant then it's not really feasible.

I'm not really an expert though, there could be other possibilities that I am un-aware of. generally though, those are the main reasons.
