Doesn't matter.
Guides aren't made for the author, they are made for the reader.
It is like a shop:
The shopkeepers need to make sure that they sell stuff.
But it isn't that the customers need to make sure they buy stuff.
In order to get credit, shopkeepers need to sell stuff, not the other way around.
It is no problem if you want some credit before you "sell" stuff in your guide,
but don't expect too much if you do it.
I liked your metaphor, i won't defend him for how he works(he said he maybe published it to early, he wrote that before your comment), I just thought the guide/build was good and got defensive.
Finish it, and unarchive it, and it should be fine ;D
