Do you mean in the inhouses?
I know that we've done that in the past, but that was over the summer when they were first getting started. We could sometimes work it out with the host to do picks and bans in the chat beforehand, and then pick without worrying about who has which champions.

"Listen to Joe... he knows what he's doing."
If I understand you correctly, no it's not.
If you do not own a champion, you cannot pick them, simple as that. (Usually)
Say you're ghost-picking for someone and, they're not there to trade. Like, AFK or something. You're now starting a game with a champion you don't own, and who's not on free week. The client doesn't know how to handle that.

Like I said, is this for the inhouses, or standard normal / ranked games?
If it is for inhouses, then yeah, just talk to your host.
If it is for normal or ranked games, then no, it's not possible.
(If you're more clear about your question, we can help you more easily in the future.)

"You sound just like Pythagoras."
