is lux still viable for ranked?

I think Lux is an awesome champ and i live to play as her but is she still viable for ranked? I would prefer to play her mid. I have tried her mid several times and it wasnt that bad. I do see supp lux often. Anyway is she still viable for ranked? I heard she gets countered a lot in mid.

She is very very very viable. I would even put her in God tier for mids. She has great poke, pushing potential/wave clear and the ability to nuke down an enemy.

She's great mid. TP / Barrier + Flash.

Once you get fed they literally cannot do anything (with proper peels on your team)

she's in the top 3-5 mids in the game right now. hands down.

kayle, anivia, lux, kassadin, few others are GOD. TIER.

Very good champ. Spam dem lazerz. Her Q and E might have high cd's, but they have great damage and utility, and her shield is borked. Her R is just great, plus her passive is great too. She's great in every way, good waveclear, good roam, and does well vs a lot of matchups. She has teh total package. And a great ***.

If you like spamming your abilities i would recommend the "Morrelo's CDR" build. I love it because it's so fun spamming the "Lazorz" Think it's like 24,5 sec cooldown on it with a finished build.

Her only issue is that she has a high skill cap in that you must use skill shots, and that she has no escapes. However, if you're good at landing bindings, you don't need an escape. I don't know what your queue is saying, but she is the epitome of burst and poke in one champion. Late-game her laser is like on a 30 second or less cool-down and her full combo can insta-gib your carries.

Why does everyone in my queue say its bad? Any big problems about Lux? (except the mana)

shes completely broken right now. she has great poke and utility with her sheild. she also does crazy damage and has a high range ult. shes also easy to cs with. the only problem you might have with her is mana and that isnt that bad.
