I also tried reinstalling LoL, and repairing LoL. Neither of these things worked. Any thoughts?
As for repairing did you use the LoL repair, or the launcher repair (accessed by clicking the cog on the launcher screen), that seemed to fix the problem for most people experiencing this. If that does not work try: (before trying all of these I would recommend making a folder on your desktop and creating back up copies of these folders)(Also you may have to have "Show Hidden folders" I do not remember how to do this on XP (sorry! browse google for that)): Go to your League of Legends Folder
Delete the Temp Folder first
Go into the RADS folder
Go into the releases folder
Delete each of the client update folders. It's the release file in each of the update folders.
Re update your LoL client, but run it as an admin, not a normal.
The last thing you should possibly ever try is this: (once again create a backup copy in a folder): 1) goto your League of Legends folder
2) Search mock
3) delete the folder not the files
4) run your client
