I don't quite understand the "Season" in LoL. When does it change? Is there a possibility to climb the ladder in the middle of the season? How long does one season last? If the season changes, does the rankings wipe out as well?

This is the third season of Lol. It started, I believe, in January, while we had a pre-season break for a few months before. It should change ~Novemberish? Whenever the championship is, they end the season shortly afterward. Rankings do not get wiped at the end of a season, but they pull everyone towards the center rating, which used to be 1250elo, which is now equivalent to somewhere in silver.
If you think I did a good job criticizing a guide or giving helpful info, or for just being a bawz of a bro, rep would be awesome :)
