down voted because there was no section for combos and how to actually play him. That's the hard part about a champion, a good guide should have that.
Wow, out of all the work this guide has put into it and you can only nitpick minor things and threaten a downvote. Let's see your guides, the best one you have so we know what a "good" one is supposed to look like. What a useless waste of a post.. You act as if you had to pay for this information. I think the guide is great btw, thank you for the time and effort you have invested into making it.
Too bad you didn't write anything about matchup with Nasus. I mean Nasus is probably the biggest top lane terror atm.
Hard to deny him farm cause of his passive lifesteal, and is always a problem late game.
I just thought Jayce would be a good counter, cause he has %health damage and can kite Nasus around.
In team fights he can also knock him away from allies.
I generally get Maw of Malmortious instead of Warmogs but honestly its personal preference, I also max W second and don't put any points into his ult til LVL 16 either haha.
Honestly the thing about Jayce is you can switch up how you build him and max his skills to suit your playstyle and that's an amazingly unique trait that is fantastic for a champ to have.
I gived a quick glance at the comments but I haven't find any answer to my question :
With the nerf of the muramana on Jayce, making it no longer proc with his R, is it still a good item ? Because it seems to me it's pretty hard tu fully load right now. Wouldn't be better to rush the TriForce ?
PASSIVE: Jayce regenerates (6 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 14) mana each time he strikes an enemy while in Hammer Stance.
ACTIVE: Creates an electric aura, dealing [25 / 42.5 / 6100 / 170 / 240 / 310 / 380 (+ 100% AP)] magic damage over 4 seconds to nearby enemies.
6100 magical damage seems pretty OP to me.
I have an interesting question about Jayce's W and it synergy with the sword of the divine.
W make the 3 next AA deals 1.3 Jayce's total attack damage. But if we activate the divine do the critic strikes are caculated on 2.5 x 1.3 Jayce's total attack damage due to his W or are they calculated on 2.5 x 1.0 Jayce's normal total attack damage (2.5 because whe have the infinity edge of course).
I ask the question because if we are on the first case, with the appropriate build (infinity edge + last whisper + the black cleaver + the blood sister + sword of the divine + shoes) W + Active of the divine + (passive of the canon form) will deal 3430 true damage too a tank with 200 armor, and at the same time when the divine is in cd, Jayce still have a strong damage build.
That means that in the first case, jayce is able to one shot one champion with only his W, with knowing that his build make him the same in his burst and in his damage over the time.
Sorry for my english, and felicitation for that very good guide +1 ;)
