[/quote] Except that Taric is probably the number 1 picked support right now? I don't have the actual statistics, but I'm pretty sure he's in top 3. Anyways, the reason Leona isn't picked too much is that she forces lanes to play aggressively. This can be a good thing, but it can also mean that you get ganked, or your ADC can start falling behind in farm. If they also counter your engage somehow, you have no real way of disengaging and running away. Leona can also be fairly squishy against certain lane matchups (*cough* Taric *cough*). She is a strong support, but her kit isn't exactly the most versatile for laning phase, which is why other supports are usually picked over her.[/quote]

[/quote] The main reason she is tanky is because of those free tank stats. Taric is just as tanky, if not more tanky, and he easily removes her armor with his [[Shatter]]. It's quite appalling how squishy she is when she doesn't have W on, and Taric's [[Shatter]] pretty much nullifies that. At least, that's how the matchup went when I used to main support. Maybe my knowledge is slightly outdated, but that's how I remembered it.[/quote]
