If you find yourself uttering the words, "I would be in a higher division if it weren't for all of these Noobs!" allow me to assure you that I do not want you. This is a Team sport, and as such we win and lose as a team. We practice, fail, learn from that failure, and practice again. The recruitment process is designed to show me more about you as a player then any amount of Lolking.net or KDA Ratio will ever tell me. If you are passionate about the game, and understand the fundamentals required to function in a team, it will show during your recruitment. DO NOT tell me about that time that you "totally carried a bunch of noobs through a match and ended 25/2/10 as AD Nidalee". I will only ask you why you did not assist your teammates in getting fed, instead of focusing all of the teams power in one champ and hope they don't lock you down. I am looking for team players here, not solo queue heroes. The Recruitment Process: This will be fairly simple, if a bit thorough. You will fill out this questionnaire below as requested. I will then contact your IGN to start the interview process. This will start Tonight and last until I find enough people to fulfill our needs. This interview will not be a Question and Answer session, it is not a test and there are no wrong answers (unless you tell me warding is a waste of money... you need not apply). We will simply discuss the game at length, including your chosen lane and tactics. This won't be painful or soul destroying, just a talk for me to see if you have the passion and understanding required to try out. Then come the tryouts. These will be done individually or in groups, depending on how many people we have ready for this stage at once, and will be fairly straight forward. We will put you in the lane of your choosing in a Draft match of our control (not blind... this is for ranked after all) and we will watch you play. How many matches required will be decided on a person by person basis as we understand people have bad games now and then. Your KDA ratio will neither win you nor lose you a slot in the team. If you have a KDA of 1/7/3 (very bad) as Shaco but have this because you were shut down early, REALIZED THAT FACT, and chose instead spent the time split pushing other objectives rather then being a free kill in team fights, then it is my opinion you made a smart move. We are looking for a reason behind these actions not the win or loss of the lane. If you make the wrong choice for the right reasons and it back fires, i will not hold that against you. A second interview may follow a match if we have questions about a choice. Slots will be chosen and assigned based on these criteria. Practice: Practice will be a currently undetermined amount of days of the week, during the evening EST. This is undetermined because setting it in stone right now will deter some players from trying out. We are willing to stretch practice a bit later or a bit earlier in order to fit the right teammate to the team. That being said we will have both Mandatory and Optional Practices. We urge you to attend both, but of course only the mandatory ones are mandatory. The optional ones will consist of trying out new ideas given by team members, and practicing advanced tactics. The Mandatory ones will consist of Team Comp building, standard practice and skirmish matches. As the Team forms into a cohesive whole this will migrate to Mandatory practice, Mandatory Ranked Time, and Optional practices. That said, when possible I prefer high sustain, manaless champions, so Vamp scepter allows me to maintain lane control and out trade the opposition. It allows you to completely catch a squishy target by surprise and turn a teamfight into a 4v5 in less than a second.[/quote]
