^You should give GOG(Good Old Games) a good look. They release all their games DRM-free and they have the same pricing in all regions (doesn't really matter if you live in the US tho). And there's often things like manuals, wallpapers and sountracks included as extras with the games.

Sim City 2000 and Nox are worth checking out. Other than that.. well, I haven't played any of the others, but there's a few famous ones in there like Ultima, Wing Commander, Dungeon Keeper and Alpha Centauri.
