if you are silver V i believe you don't have to worry about a decay since you can't go to bronze for that (from what i know) but you will lose all your LP. i hate this thing too i have dropped to silver V because of not playing ranked -_-

Just in case you aren't familiar with the decay itself. I dunno, perhaps you are. You can be inactive for 28 days, near enough a month, before decay kicks in. If you were to be unable to access LoL for 6 weeks and were in diamond you would experience 150 lp decay, pushing you down one or two divisions depending on your lp when decay kicks in. In silver, in order to be demoted a division you would have to have less than 30 lp when decay starts. As long as you are in gold or lower you could potentially build up an 'lp buffer' to prevent demotion due to inactivity over a 6 week period of inactivity.
