The games started quickly and smoothly but balancing was far from okay. The games were one-sided and overall stomps. I understand that it's sometimes a hard task to balance properly but putting 2 Silver players, 2 Gold players and 1 Plat player against 3 Gold players, 1 Plat player and 1 Diamond player is kinda strange.
Overall you did well and some of the balancing issues were caused from a misunderstanding. I also think that even though some of the games were stomps it wasn't because of bad balance at the start.
Something that could help is if you check the player roster / signup sheet to see what roles people prefer, since you said yourself one game there was an issue of having too many people that mained the same role on the same team.
It would also help if everybody could fill out their Role 1 and Role 2 columns in the General Info tab on your character so we have a better idea.
Another thing, when inviting, invite by order of who signed up first rather than just inviting everyone at once, and don't invite players that are tentative or didn't sign up before people that signed up have had a chance to join. I usually give ppl that signed up 5 min to be late before inviting others. So, Available > Tentative > No Sign Up. You can see who signed up when by going to the signup details and filtering by date.
Also, if someone signed up but isn't in lobby (especially if it seems like a first timer) try inviting them manually by just copying and pasting their name into the invite box.
