I'm reluctand to play Liss in soloq in the first place, especially in low gold or silver. Though, DFG ain't going to solve your problems; Liss her scalings and base damages are simply too low for DFG to be that strong.

The reason I'm being so defensive over dfg is cause it has worked for me in the past, but that probably has something to do with me being silver and playing her in soloQ. I usually just get really ahead to the point where my dfg +everyotherskill combo can one shot anything and if not I'd at least get people low enough so that they can't commit to the fight freely :3
Edit: Just to clarify, I do agree that if you have a competent team building dfg is useless but sometimes it's just enough damage to get you through a game in solo Q :3

Best thing that works with liss is just get your team together and follow your moves. That beats a DFG every game :P

If you're fed, you can appoint yourself as the playmaker. Especially as lissandra. Just make sure that they are ready when you go in. Don't just go in though, double-check if people are ready.
